Radio production

I started producing for radio through Radio Anyway, a volunteer-produced community radio magazine that aired once a week for nearly six years on WNMC in Traverse City, Mich. Radio Anyway's final episode aired in May of 2009, but during the year I worked on its staff, I produced several dozen pieces—including features, Q&As, and reviews—and became comfortable with all the necessary recording equipment and editing software, including Adobe Audition.

Below is the link to my first freelanced radio piece, which was picked up by Interlochen Public Radio, an NPR affiliate station in northwest Michigan. The piece aired during Morning Edition on July 10, 2008.
